Systems for F201 boxes and similar
This type of system allows products to be packed in American F201 or similar boxes: the classic American boxes that are normally used to pack assembled furniture, such as base and wall cabinets for kitchens, bedside tables, etc., or to ship products in the e-commerce sector and in logistics in general. The packaging is closed using Hot Melt glue.
This system has very high automation possibilities and allow the entire packaging cycle to be automated from production of the customised box to the closing around the product, reducing the number of operators to a minimum.

Work phases
Product preparation
Area in which loose products (not yet boxed) are prepared by an operator. In this area, product protections may be inserted by hand if required.
Measuring
Area in which products are measured automatically or by hand in order to indicate the dimensions of the box to be produced to the packaging machine.
Box procurement
Area dedicated to the production of customised boxes with a Panotec packaging machine.
If the production process requires large batches, the boxes can be supplied by a box manufacturer and stored on pallets/racks next to the coupling station run by the operator.
Box forming
Area in which the automatic box bottom forming modules are located, mainly for F410, F401 model boxes or bottom and lids. An operator must form the box manually if this area is not automated.
Box-product coupling
Area where the product is manually inserted by the operator into the box, which has been pre-formed previously by the FM410 forming module.
If you want to automate this process, you must provide for a robot that picks up the product and releases it over the open (non-preformed) box.
Box closing
Area in which the boxes are closed with the product. It is possible to use the automatic closing module using Hot Melt glue or using adhesive tape.
Labelling
Area in which the pack is automatically labelled. Various labelling options are available: On the side, on the lid, at 90°, etc. It is also possible to have the label applied by hand by an operator.
Palletisation
This is normally the last station that makes up a system; it can achieve a high level of automation thanks to the presence of robots and can handle numerous pack unloading bays.
